HP Refurbished Mini-Note 2133- Storage 250GB HDD /2GB RAM – Bluetooth– Camera- Wi-Fi – Mic & Headphone Jack Windows
Performance
The system is powered by a C7-M processor, with integrated Chrome 9 HC video graphics chip, 2GB of DDR2 memory (RAM) and 250 GB Hard disk drive (HDD) which means it can run multiple applications without a hiccup. Due to a big RAM capacity and a really fast hard disk the daily work is trouble-free and relatively fast.
This small notebook provides everything needed for the daily work in a very small place. The main advantages are a fully-fledged keyboard, a good WXGA display, and a long battery runtime. Wireless and browsing performance is respectable.
Display
The diagonal of this display is 8.9 inch with the native resolution is 1.280 x 768 pixels which is sufficiently big for displaying web sites and applications just like on a 15.4-inch notebook. The font is clearly smaller but nevertheless, it is very sharp and well legible. The viewing angles of this small display are surprisingly good
Design
The design is elegant and the workmanship and the feel is surprisingly good. The 2133 is undoubtedly the most attractive of all the laptops in its class and has the look and feel of a far more expensive device.
By making the 2133 bigger, HP has been able to incorporate a relatively large, spill-proof keyboard. This stretches all the way to the left and right edges of the chassis, allowing the keys to be significantly larger than those on the Eee PC. HP says the keyboard is 92 per cent of the size of a ‘standard’ laptop keyboard, but we’d say many of the keys are actually larger, and more comfortable than what you get on some bigger laptops.
You also get a sturdy and stylish aluminum chassis that makes this system look like a premium ultraportable, as well as a relatively large and crisp 8.9-inch display.
Peripheral Connectivity
The interface equipment of the HP Mini-Note 2133 is similar to those of other notebooks. USB ports, a VGA port, Ethernet (LAN) ExpressCard54 slot. An SD card reader, mic and headphone jacks. A camera and microphone are embedded in the upper bezel
Connectivity is adequate. At the front, you’ll find sliding switches for the power and wireless adaptors. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are standard equipment
The built-in WLAN card by Broadcom supports a, b, or g standard and transfers data at a gross transfer rate of up to 54 MBit/s. It is handy that you can simply switch WLAN off by a hardware switch at the front edge, if you do not need it. Wired data communication is possible via the built-in Gigabit LAN interface, which won’t make you want faster connectivity. Mobile phones, PDAs, and other devices can be connected to this HP notebook via Bluetooth. The web cam is appropriate for video or online chats.
Verdict
Overall this mini notebook offers nice keyboard, sharp display and durable design. It’s affordable, attractive and it’s more comfortable to use than any of its immediate competitors.
Ideal for school, instructional use or general purpose business applications, the HP Compaq 2133 Mini-Note PC might be small in size but it’s big on usability, durability, and sleekness. Packed with an impressive combination of features, the HP Compaq 2133 offers you a full-function PC with the utmost mobility.
